We recently completed the installation and commissioning of a multi-station welding fume extraction system for an industrial workshop. Specifically, the project pairs 5 electric rotary fume extraction hoods with a Moland 12,000 m³/h welding dust collector, delivering effective fume capture and filtration across multiple welding stations.

The workshop runs several welding stations simultaneously, and this generates significant welding fumes that compromise air quality and pose health risks to operators. Previously, the client had relied on basic local exhaust ventilation; however, insufficient airflow and limited coverage meant welding fumes were not effectively captured at the source.

Based on the workshop layout and welding processes, we configured the following solution:

During installation, our technical team carried out airflow balancing on every branch duct, verifying that all 5 hoods maintain consistent and adequate capture velocity when running simultaneously. After commissioning, welding fume concentration in the workshop dropped significantly — in fact, visible smoke near the workstations was substantially reduced. As a result, the client confirmed satisfaction with the performance.
We specialize in industrial welding fume extraction, offering R&D, manufacturing, and installation of welding dust collectors, cutting and grinding dust removal systems, filter cartridges, and ducting accessories. In addition, OEM/ODM services are available. Currently, our products reach the US, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Contact us for technical specifications and quotations
