The extension beam is designed to increase the reach of self-supporting extraction arms; it combines a rigid steel beam structure with a classic flexible extraction arm, enabling operations at a linear distance of over 9 meters. It is ideal for workstations located far from walls or support pillars.
The extension extraction arm assembly consists of a wall-mounted bracket (featuring a slewing bearing to support the extension) and a beam arm. The beam can rotate 180° and includes an adjustment mechanism to control the rotation tension. The extension suction arm section ranges from 1 to 6 meters in length, while a standard internal-joint extraction arm (available in 2m, 3m, or 4m lengths) is mounted at the beam's tip; a unique connection design allows the extraction arm to rotate 360° relative to the beam. With the flexible extraction arm section ranging from 2 to 4 meters, the total reach of the assembly spans approximately 3 to 10 meters. Custom lengths are available for specialized applications. Standard duct diameters are 160mm and 200mm.
The steel cantilevered beam features high strength and great flexibility. Both the top and bottom openings of the support column can be directly connected to the exhaust system.
An optional pneumatic locking function is available to prevent drift caused by the weight of the extension arm, ensuring greater ease of use.
The extension arm can be connected to a standalone fume purifier or the ductwork of a central purification system.
This product requires custom sizing.
