Wanping Nuclear Power Equipment Production Workshop Welding Overall Dust Removal Project
This project is for the overall dust removal of the welding production workshop at Wanping Nuclear Power Equipment, using a blow-suction internal circulation treatment method.
The 20-span welding workshop's smoke and dust control area is equipped with 20 MLWF2000C dust removal main units.

Based on the analysis of the workstation, it's recommended to use a blow-suction internal circulation purification method. The purified clean air is sent to one side of the workshop as the blowing power source, while the other side draws in air for purification, creating an air curtain 4-6 meters high in the workshop, so welding fumes rise to the circulation layer for purification.
Considering the impact of dust dispersion on the surrounding unorganized concentrations, the blow-suction duct coverage area is extended by about 4 meters to achieve the best dust removal effect.

Equipment Selection:
Choose 20 sets of MLWF2000C blow-suction dust removal systems.
Airflow per set: 20,000 m³/h
Total airflow: 20,000 * 20 = 400,000 m³/h
The dust collector in the workshop covers an area with an air change rate of 8.5 times per hour.

The smoke and dust produced during welding rise when heated, hit a circulation layer, and then get sucked into the main dust collector. After being filtered through the cartridge, it meets indoor emission standards, effectively purifying the air in the welding workshop.

The blow-suction dust removal system adds an air duct intake and supply vent to each piece of equipment. When two machines are used together, they create a circulating airflow layer, providing workers with a better working environment.
Blow-suction centralized dust removal is suitable for welding large structural components, especially when the welding positions are not fixed and the workpieces are big, making it hard to capture welding fumes. The fan speed can be automatically adjusted based on the dust concentration at different spots in the workshop, reducing energy consumption.
The dust removal mainframe control system uses Meilan's self-developed PLC intelligent dust removal control system. The touch display screen of the control system can show the operating status of the equipment.
For example, the system can detect power phase failure, undervoltage, and overvoltage protection to safeguard the equipment; the equipment has built-in temperature sensors to monitor operating temperatures in real time, triggering alarms and automatically stopping if limits are exceeded; it monitors power, fan usage, and sends fault alerts in real time; supports scheduled backblowing and offline backblowing functions; provides reminders for consumable usage and replacement; and alerts for ash hopper cleaning. There are three control modes: local control, shift-based time control, and remote control.
This intelligent control system helps customers improve equipment utilization more efficiently.
