Welding dust removal project in the workshop of a cable tray manufacturing company in Shandong
The welding area with smoke that needs to be managed is 66 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 3.5 meters high. The workshop has 12 automatic welding robots and 2 manual welding stations.

Based on the process layout, welding dust production, and control targets, and combined with Meilan Environmental's design experience in displacement ventilation dust removal, to ensure effective smoke and dust collection, the dust removal plan is to semi-enclose the welding areas of the 12 robots, with dust hoods on top for collection.

To achieve the best collection and purification effect, the coverage area uses a zoned dust removal method. This zoning ensures effective dust collection while being energy-saving and environmentally friendly. To prevent air turbulence and dust from spreading, curtains are hung around the dust collection hood. For the two manual welding stations, two cantilever collection arms are used.

Equipped with the Meilan 37KW dust removal main unit, with an airflow of 35,000 m³/h, the purified clean air is discharged outdoors up to standard.
