The activated carbon panel filter is constructed by impregnating a polyurethane substrate with activated carbon. With a carbon content of approximately 60%, it offers excellent adsorption capabilities and is suitable for air purification—specifically for removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and airborne contaminants such as fine dust, smoke, odors, toluene, and methanol.
Product Features:
1. Cost-effective, lightweight, and versatile, helping to reduce operating costs.
2. Features a rigid paper or aluminum frame; the filter medium consists of activated carbon-impregnated chemical fibers formed into a pleated structure.
3. Reinforced with a metal mesh support.
4. Compact design; commonly used for primary filtration in ventilation systems.
Applications:
Used in air purification systems to treat odors and contaminated air, adsorb/remove harmful gases (such as benzene, formaldehyde, and ammonia), and recover solvents.
Usage Instructions:
. Ensure proper use of the activated carbon air filter.
. The air residence time within the activated carbon layer should generally exceed 0.1 seconds.
. Pre-filter the air to remove dust and mist droplets.
. Install a dust filter downstream to prevent potential carbon dust contamination of the ventilation system.
. Airflow temperature should generally not exceed 50°C; relative humidity should generally not exceed 80%.
. Replace the activated carbon filter periodically based on the specific operating environment.
