A large workshop dust collection system with blow-and-suction function from a petroleum transport equipment manufacturer in Hebei has been successfully delivered to the customer.
The blow-suction dust removal system is a duct system with multiple air outlets and inlets, along with one or two sets of fans and filters. The ducts are generally installed at a height of 4-6 meters in the workshop (where welding smoke and dust float). By using blow-suction airflow, the welding area is surrounded by the duct system, which not only helps control the harmful emissions from a single piece of equipment but also effectively manages harmful substances throughout the entire workshop.
Solutions for Welding Smoke and Dust in Tall Workshops
This case focuses on overall welding dust removal for tall workshops. The welding workshop operates continuously for long periods, with welding smoke and dust reaching an approximately stable state.
The site has three workshop spans, each 95 meters long and 22 meters wide. Based on the site conditions and customer requirements, a blow-suction dust removal system was chosen.
Based on the working conditions, 12 sets of MLWF2000-C blow-suction dust removal systems from Moland Environmental Protection are matched, with each set having an air volume of 20,000 m³/h. The total air volume is 240,000 m³/h, and each piece of equipment is fitted with an air duct intake and outlet.
Two pieces of equipment work together to create an airflow circulation layer. The air is drawn into a dust removal device for filtration, and after filtering, it meets indoor discharge standards, thus achieving dust purification in the welding workshop.
One end of the duct blows out air, while the opposite end draws air in. The polluted air enters the system for filtering, and the filtered air is then recirculated back into the workshop. Pulling in dirty air and recycling clean air is a continuous process.
This creates ongoing air circulation throughout the area, continuously collecting welding smoke and keeping the air quality in the workshop within environmental standards.
