Welding Fume Extraction System for the Welding Training Center
This dust removal system is located on the third floor of the welding training center; it serves 12 welding stations and utilizes an enclosure-style collection method.
The welding booth is constructed using 50mm cleanroom panels and measures 3m x 3m x 2.2m. It features a top-mounted dust extraction hood, transparent acrylic side panels, and a sliding door design; the system is equipped with a Meilan Environmental 22kW intelligent dust collection unit.
The main dust collection unit is positioned indoors at a suitable location. To accommodate the use of an overhead crane for lifting workpieces, the dust-collecting enclosure features a retractable roof design. Arc-shielding curtains are installed around the perimeter to create a relatively enclosed space, preventing welding fumes from escaping.
