This is a pipe fitting processing center in Jiangyin. The workshop is equipped with a CNC gantry plasma cutting machine; based on the on-site operating conditions, a hood-type extraction system is employed, featuring a dust collection hood capable of moving horizontally (left-right and front-back) as well as vertically (up and down).
Equipped with a Moland 15kW intelligent dust extraction unit, the system allows for the configuration of cutting paths within the Moland control interface. By synchronizing the gantry dust collection hood with the cutting process—based on the operator's cutting speed and workpiece length—fumes generated during cutting are promptly captured and purified.

To enhance production efficiency while reducing operating costs and the complexity of manual intervention, we have integrated remote control capabilities with the lift mechanism. Operators can trigger specific movements—such as traversing (up, down, left, right, forward, backward) and lifting—directly via the remote control. Parameters such as movement speed can be adjusted within our intelligent PLC system.

The workshop is also equipped with a directional plasma cutting machine that utilizes a hood-based extraction system tailored to the specific on-site operating conditions.
It is paired with a 7.5 kW intelligent dust collection unit from Meilan; the collection hood is designed to rotate and move vertically, ensuring it does not interfere with the hoisting of workpieces while effectively capturing fumes and dust generated during the cutting process.
Following implementation, Meilan Environmental Protection’s plasma cutting dust removal equipment has received unanimous praise across the board. It not only resolves the issue of fume and dust pollution during the cutting process but also effectively safeguards the health of the workers.
