Project Background & Requirements

A machinery processing enterprise in Henan Province faces a critical problem in its welding workshop. It operates 8 mobile welding robots, which generate a large amount of harmful welding fumes during daily operations. These fumes not only threaten the health of on-site workers but also fail to meet strict environmental protection standards. The enterprise thus urgently needs a professional welding fume purification solution to solve this problem.

Key Challenge: Mobile Welding Robot Operation

Unlike fixed welding stations, the 8 mobile welding robots do not have a fixed working position. They move flexibly according to production needs. This brings a major challenge to fume purification — traditional fixed dust removal equipment cannot keep up with the robots’ movement, leading to poor fume collection efficiency and failure to control pollution at the source.

Customized Welding Fume Purification Solution Design

To address this challenge, we adopt a targeted design. We fix high-negative pressure dust collectors at appropriate positions on each welding robot. Each purifier connects to a custom-made suction nozzle through a flexible hose. The flexible hose ensures free movement of the robot without any interference.

Source Capture & Synchronous Movement

We directly fix the custom suction nozzle at a proper position on the welding torch. This design allows the nozzle to be close to the welding fume source, capturing harmful fumes immediately when they are generated. Meanwhile, the suction nozzle moves synchronously with the welding robot, ensuring no fume escapes during the robot’s movement and achieving efficient purification.

Multi-scenario Application of Welding Fume Purification Equipment

This mobile high-negative pressure fume purifier is not limited to robot welding. It also applies to hand-held grinding, cutting and other working conditions in the workshop. Its strong versatility helps the enterprise reduce equipment investment and realize all-round purification of workshop fumes. It effectively protects the workshop environment and workers’ health while meeting relevant environmental protection regulations.
