The choice of dust collector in industrial dust removal equipment

When choosing a Dust Collector, relevant factors must be fully considered, such as dust removal efficiency, pressure loss, one-time investment, maintenance management, etc. The most important of which is dust removal efficiency. There are some problems in the selection of industrial dust removal equipment to pay special attention to. Today, industrial dust removal equipment manufacturers will take a look with everyone.

1. The selected dust collector must meet the emission concentration specified in the emission standard. For systems with unstable operating conditions, attention should be paid to the impact of flue gas treatment volume changes on dust removal efficiency and pressure loss. For example, the dust removal efficiency and pressure loss of cyclone dust collectors increase with the increase in the amount of flue gas processed, but the efficiency of most dust collectors (such as electric precipitators) decreases with the increase in the amount of flue gas processed.
2. The physical properties of the dust have a great influence on the performance of the dust collector. For example, high-viscosity dust is easy to stick to the surface of the dust collector, and dry dust removal is not suitable; dust with too large or too small specific resistance is not suitable for electric dust removal; fibrous or hydrophobic dust is not suitable for wet dust removal.
Different industrial dust removal equipment has completely different dust removal efficiency for different particle size dust. When selecting a dust collector, you must first understand the particle size distribution of the dust to be collected, and then choose an appropriate dust collector according to the dust removal classification efficiency and dust removal requirements of the dust collector. The classification efficiency obtained after testing different dust collectors with typical dust is listed for reference. The dust used in the test is silica dust with a density of 10p-2. 7g/cm3 and a particle size distribution: 0-5)u,m 20%; 5-lOpm 10%; 10-20t/m 15%; 20- 44ym 20%; >44tlm 35%.
3. When the dust concentration of the gas is high, a low-resistance primary purification device should be installed in front of the electrostatic precipitator or bag filter to remove coarse dust particles, so that the equipment can perform better. For example, reducing the dust concentration at the inlet of the precipitator can increase the filtration speed of the bag filter and prevent the electric precipitator from generating corona blockage. The wet dust collector can reduce the amount of mud processing, save investment and reduce the workload of operation and maintenance.
