The advantages of low vacuum Industrial Dust Collectors

Many industrial processes, such as welding or cutting, produce hot smoke that rises naturally. The suction cover of the suction arm can be installed above the welding station, or placed across the welding table from the welder, so that the suction cover or nozzle is horizontal toward the source of smoke. The distance between the smoke source and the exhaust point provides more work space for the welder. Another benefit of low-vacuum industrial dust removal systems is that they can be used with tools that do not (or cannot) have an integrated drainage system. Return air tables, down-draft tables and hoods can also sometimes absorb harmful gases from welders, but require a large fan and therefore consume more energy than suction arms.
Advantages of high vacuum Industrial Dust Collectors
High vacuum industrial dust removal systems are commonly used to capture heavier particles operating at high speeds, such as dust from industrial processes such as grinding or sandblasting. However, high vacuum industrial dust removal equipment is also very effective for capturing smoke emissions from welding, especially when the suction arm is not always close enough to the smoke source. Why capture the smoke at the source?

Smaller flue gas exhaust points use smaller fans, thus reducing costs. Lower air volume means lower heating and air-conditioning costs.
Capturing the fumes at the source prevents welders and other workers from being exposed to harmful environments, thus providing a safer and healthier workplace.
Capturing the flue gas from the source also removes dust from the surface and interior of the equipment, facilitates routine cleaning, requires less cleaning and maintenance, and extends the service life of the machine.
Which Industrial Dust Collectors should I choose?
Deciding whether to use a low vacuum or high vacuum industrial dust removal system basically considers two key factors: installation space and welding process.
How much space does your ceiling have? In addition to mounting height, the low vacuum suction arm requires a clearance of 3-4 feet.
How big is your workspace? The length of the low vacuum suction arm can range from 3 to 16 feet. Bending the suction arm may limit its airflow.
Do you need to move your welding job all the time? If so, a drain kit may be the ideal choice.
Do you have a special welding space? If so, does it already contain several welding torches? (Ideally, integrated pumping and draining devices can be considered)
