Difference Between Dry Dust Collector and Wet Dust Collector

First of all, the advantage of dry dust collector is that it does not need water as an introduction, accounting for more than 90% of all dust removal systems. Its main feature is the use of impact rapping for ash removal, and most of the treated dust is dry powder, which can be used for centralized production and comprehensive utilization. It has the characteristics of small floor area, wide application range and high dust removal efficiency. It is widely used in large-scale dust removal. Common dry dust collectors include bag dust collector, filter cartridge dust collector, cyclone dust collector, etc. Its disadvantage is that it can not remove the harmful components in the gas. If it is not handled properly, it is easy to cause secondary pollution.

Secondly, the wet dust collector uses water as the purification medium, with simple structural design, low initial investment and high dust removal efficiency. When handling dust, it can absorb other harmful components in the vacuum cleaner and achieve the purpose of cooling; In addition, it can handle corrosive gases with high relative humidity. Its disadvantage is that the dust removal equipment with single structure, large volume and low relative efficiency can only carry out rough purification, and the dust removal efficiency can not be achieved.
