Problems to be considered in multi-point centralized dust removal

December 02, 2020

When adopting multi-point centralized dust removal, the following problems should be considered:

(1) The number of dust-producing points: Generally, there are no more than 15 dust-producing points. If the dust-producing points are too scattered, an on-site dust removal system should be adopted.

(2) Dust output of each dust generating point: The dust output of dust generating point generally does not exceed 60m3/min, which exceeds this dust output.

(3) Determining the dust output of the multi-point centralized dust removal system.

(4) The direction of the pipeline: the direction of the pipeline must be along the direction of the airflow, and the joints of the pipeline must be sealed.

(5) The nature of the material. For flammable and explosive dust, it is required that the pipeline flow rate should not be too fast, and the flow rate is too fast, which may cause friction and heat with the pipe wall, ignite or detonate the dust.
