How to improve the service life of the filter of the centralized dust collector precipitator

The arrangement of the filter cartridge in the centralized Dust Collector is very important. It can be arranged vertically on the flower plate of the box body, or arranged obliquely on the flower plate. From the perspective of the cleaning effect, the vertical arrangement is more reasonable. The lower part of the flower plate is the filter chamber, and the upper part is the air box pulse chamber. An air distribution plate is installed at the entrance of the filter cartridge dust collector.

Precautions for prolonging the life of the dust collector cartridge:

 1. Blockage of the filter cartridge. When the filter cartridge is blocked, the resistance increases, which can be reflected by the increase in the reading of the differential pressure gauge. The clogging of the filter cartridge is the main cause of the phenomenon of wear, perforation, and shedding of the filter cartridge.

      Causes of clogging of the filter cartridge (1) Temporarily strengthen dust removal to eliminate the clogging of the filter cartridge; (2) Replace the filter cartridge partially or completely; (3) Adjust the installation and operating conditions.

 2. Damage to the filter cartridge. The shape of the filter cartridge and the installation method and mechanism of the filter cartridge determine the location where the filter cartridge is easily damaged, and inspection and maintenance can be carried out accordingly.

 3. The aging of the filter cartridge. Mainly due to the following reasons, it is necessary to investigate the cause, take corrective measures and replace the filter cartridge.

     (1) It hardens and shrinks due to abnormal high temperature; (2) It reacts due to contact with acid, alkali or organic solvent vapor; (3) It reacts with water

 4. The filter cartridge should not be hung too loosely or too tightly. Too loose and easy to accumulate dust, and too tight to be easily damaged.

 5. The new process and the old filter cartridges should not be mixed, to avoid the difference in damage time from affecting the normal operation of the equipment.

 6. The replaced filter cartridge should be blown clean with compressed air first, and then checked for any holes. After the holes are repaired, they are reserved for replacement. If the filter cartridge is stuck with dust, rinse it with water, and leave it to be replaced after it has dried.
