I. Background and Needs of the Welding Workshop Fume and Dust Removal Project

The welding workshop of the Corn Machinery Division contains 21 fixed welding stations, mainly undertaking manual and automated welding operations on large structural components. Due to the large size of the workpieces and the wide operating area, the workshop has not fume and dust purification equipment. Welding fumes and harmful gases diffuse directly, endangering employee health, affecting equipment and product quality, and failing to comply with national environmental protection and occupational health and safety standards, thus requiring to install welding fume extraction system.
