I. Background and Needs of the Welding Workshop Fume and Dust Removal Project<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The welding workshop of the Corn Machinery Division contains 21 fixed welding stations, mainly undertaking manual and automated welding operations on large structural components. Due to the large size of the workpieces and the wide operating area, the workshop has not\u00a0fume and dust purification equipment. Welding fumes and harmful gases diffuse directly, endangering employee health, affecting equipment and product quality, and failing to comply with national environmental protection and occupational health and safety standards, thus requiring to install welding fume extraction system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

II. Core Design Scheme for the Welding Workshop\u00a0Fume Extraction\u00a0Project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the pain points of large workpieces, scattered workstations, and easy fume diffusion, after on-site survey and working condition simulation, an integrated solution of “semi-enclosed negative pressure dust collection + top suction collection + high-efficiency purification + intelligent control” was adopted. Through semi-enclosed modification and a high negative pressure pipeline system, coupled with a Moland\u00a0160KW dust collector<\/a> (air volume 120,000 m\u00b3\/h), the fume and dust treatment needs of 21 workstations operating simultaneously can be met, ensuring dust removal efficiency and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(I) Top-Suction Dust Collection Hood System<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This system is the core collection unit. The workstation top install suction dust collection hood, combined with a liftable, flame-retardant, and arc-shielding soft curtain to create a semi-enclosed space. This effectively prevents smoke and dust escape, isolates arc light interference, and does not affect the operation of large workpieces. The large-diameter dust collection hood design ensures comprehensive dust capture, which is then transported to the main unit by pipeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system features intelligent zone control, automatically starting and stopping or adjusting speed according to the workstation’s operating status. An independently controlled explosion-proof lighting system, so that can visibility and accuracy during operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(II) High-Efficiency Dust Removal Main Unit<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Moland\u00a0160KW main unit adopts high-efficiency cartridge filters. The flame-retardant coated filters achieves 99.9% filtration efficiency for particles larger than 0.3\u03bcm, ensuring purified air meets emission standards. Equipped with a pulse dust cleaning\u00a0system, it not only can clean dust, but also extend filter lifespan. At the same time can reduce downtime maintenance costs. The dust collector equip intelligent control system, and monitor equioment working status in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(III) Automatic Fire Extinguishing System<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To prevent dust explosions, equipped automatic fire extinguishing system, forming a multi-level protection chain with the pipeline explosion suppression device. Through real-time monitoring by temperature and pressure sensors, it automatically releases extinguishing agents when reach thresholds, quickly extinguishing initial fires. It is interlocked with the workshop fire protection system, cutting off power, closing valves, and triggering an alarm in emergencies, achieving full-process safety protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

III. Value and Advantages of the Welding Workshop Fume and Dust Removal Project<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project achieves efficient treatment of welding fumes, ensuring emissions meet standards and significantly improving the working environment. Intelligent and automated technologies reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs, improving production stability. The flexible design adapts to various working conditions, with reserved expansion interfaces to meet subsequent workstation and process upgrade needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IV. Conclus\u00e3o<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0This project comprehensively solves the problem of workshop smoke and dust by top-suction dust, high-efficiency purification and intelligent system.
